Autumn Wreath Workshop

Escape the pace and join Nikki from Cherry Tree Way to slow down and enjoy the simple things in life. Spend the afternoon celebrating the season of autumn, using foliage and flowers to create a beautiful autumnal wreath for you to hang at home.

Once we have settled in, you will start the afternoon by selecting your natural materials, you will be guided in your selection and encouraged to use materials that you feel the most drawn too.

You will create your wreath taking cues from the traditional Japanese practice of ikebana, which will encourage you to be mindful choosing foliage as you allow your own creative style to come through into your arrangement. In ikebana, an arrangement is seen as a reflection of your own personality, with each arrangement completely unique to the maker. It is a creative expression of inner beauty.

Autumn is a transitional season which eases us away from the high intensity of the summer months, a cooler breeze drifts in and we are surrounded by an ever-changing bronze hued landscape.

The workshop will also include seasonal conversation, a discussion on what often shows up for us at this time and how we can make the transition as smooth as possible.

Inspired by nature, we create natural, seasonally led floral arrangements. Everything you need is included in the ticket - seasonal flora, tea and snacks.

Cherry Tree Way promotes living a simple and slow life, supported by nature, for a better wellbeing.
