The Tarot Learning Circle The Tarot Learning Circle is a space for people interested in the tarot to meet and discuss the cards. Aimed at beginners or those wishing to deepen their knowledge of the deck, we will meet every Tuesday evening for six weeks to talk about the meanings of the ancient cards and how they might be interpreted to fit within our contemprary lives. Using simple, memorable techniques, we will cover all 78 cards of the Major and Minor Arcana. The emphasis will be on deepening your understanding - focusing on symbols, numerology and pictorial metaphors within each card - rather than attempting to learn meanings by rote.  We will touch on the mythology of the cards and their medieval depictions, while aiming to ground the more esoteric qualities in easily adaptable ways. Participants are invited to bring their own deck along or decks can be purchased from Head & Hands. Each member will be provided with a hand-printed a notebook and offered a donation based reading by Zara who will be leading the sessions. Zara, is a tarot reader and freelance writer living in London. Inspirited by her solo adventures and journeying, she enjoys sharing stories, wisdom and experiences from the people she meets and reads with. Her personal journey with the cards led her to meet Amanda - founder of Head & Hands, unexpectedly on a mountain in Bulgaria. Together their desire to deepen their collective knowledge of the cards led them to organise a welcoming space to share learning, and understanding with others ready embrace the cards as a tool for meditation, guidance and introspection.
